T-minus seventy eight days until Mike and Sami say their vows and become husband and wife. Getting to interact with them a couple days ago showed me how well they love and respect each other. I noticed that family is a big deal to them when Mike was telling me about how he turned down a promotion and raise without a second thought because it would have put stress on his family relationships. I find that so valuable and rare in today’s culture when it is so easy to get focused on wealth and status. Mike and Sami know what is most important and are willing to sacrifice for those people.
I loved that Sami came up with the location at Doris Ranch in Eugene. It had everything from orchards, to golden fields, to an old barn, to a gorgeous grassy glade. We had so much fun together and it made me even more excited to shoot their wedding this September!
